Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Baglio was a good experience that exceeded my expectations, particularly in terms of its culinary offerings. Nestled amidst olive trees and rolling landscapes, this family-run hotel is a hidden gem. The restaurant, overlooking the inviting swimming pool, showcased an excellent menu driven by locally sourced vegetables and wines produced on-site. Breakfast was a standout; each morning featured an array of fresh, homemade items that incorporated seasonal ingredients, providing a wonderful start to the day. Among my meals, the Sunday lunch special was particularly amazing, offering a creative twist on traditional fare that left a lasting impression. The ambiance was equally inviting, with attentive staff who effortlessly catered to our every need, despite any language barriers. Their warmth and attentiveness fostered a comfortable dining experience. I highly recommend Baglio for anyone seeking both a peaceful retreat and an innovative culinary journey.
